The Winnock Hotel dates back to the late 1700s and throughout history has always offered lodging to weary travellers passing through by Loch Lomond and the Trossachs areas.
Formerly a coaching inn, The Winnock hotel has been lovingly restored and tastefully extended to its present day form. Offering 73 bedrooms, cosy lounges, many with open log fires, a characterful restaurant, function room and public lounge bar, the hotel has many things in common with its historic counterpart with one striking similarity, friendly, welcoming service.
Guests take time to savour the fine food, wines, ales & whiskies on offer from our Merlin Restaurant and Ptarmigan Bar, idling the time away planning their days adventure in the light and airy Conservatory or snuggled up by one of our log fires. Many past guests have joined in the revelry of one of our Ceilidh or Scottish nights in the Capercaillie Room, dancing away into the wee small hours.
The Winnock Hotel offers The Heritage Rooms and Elegance Rooms both styles offer guests a cosy and comfortable space to relax and enjoy this wonderful historic InnThe Heritage rooms are located in the oldest part of the hotel offering different shape and sizes most rooms have original features of the old hotel including fire places in rooms and sash windows overlooking the village green. The Elegance Rooms are located in the Lomond wing of the hotel which was built in 2006 they offer bright and airy accommodation decorated in neutral colours with luxury fabrics with a modern twist. There is a mix of double, twins, family rooms, four posters and some single bedrooms - all are non-smoking and have been designed with your comfort in mind and all have the following facilities: Colour Television with Satellite TV Tea & Coffee making facilities En-suite toilet with bath and/or shower Direct dial telephone
At the Winnock Hotel you have the choice of three restaurants - the historic and intimate Merlin Restaurant, the characterful and cozy Ptarmigan Bar or the popular Capercaillie Room where entertaining evenings abound! The Merlin Restaurant offers a romantic setting for dinner by candlelight with original beams & exposed stone work you are assured of a historic setting. The Capercaillie Room is the venue for The Winnocks regular Ceilidh and Scottish Nights as well as Murder Mystery, Spooky Scotland and a variety of different party nights. The Ptarmigan Bar is a cosy traditonal Scottish pub & lounge offering bar meals - their comfy leather chairs and sofas offer the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine and a bar meal.

Located in the heart of the picturesque village of Drymen, approx. 14 miles from Glasgow. There is an abundance of things to see and do in the area - The banks of Loch Lomond are only 10 minutes away.
