This magnificent imposing mansion which overlooks a quiet flowing river is located in peaceful parkland and is surrounded by beautiful mature trees dating back centuries. Although centrally located in the ancient city of Elgin, the pathways out of the hotel lead to picturesque walks and runs. The Mansion House is perhaps Scotland’s smallest hotel containing the most varied number of quality indoor facilities and offering short breaks in Scotland. These range from swimming pool to gymnasium, sauna, steam room, spa, snooker room, beauty room and piano lounge. In addition to the main restaurant, well known for its delicious and innovative food, there is small bistro. The soft colours of the public rooms are very much in keeping with such an elegant building and the luxurious accommodation comprises mostly of four poster & giant sleigh beds. The countryside around is varied. The outdoor enthusiast has a variety of short breaks in Scotland on offer whether golfer, fisherman or distillery hunter.
