Knockendarroch House Hotel
Knockendarroch House Hotel, Higher Oakfield, Pitlochry, Perthshire, PH16 5HT
The Knockendarroch House Hotel sits on an elevated position offering spectacular views of the surrounding valleys and mountains, yet is only a short stroll to the picturesque village of Pitlochry.
The hotel is an elegant, stone built Victorian property that was the home of the original Pitlochry Festival Theatre or “Theatre in the Tent in the Hills”. The Pitlochry Festival Theatre remains one of the many reasons underpinning Pitlochry’s enduring popularity.
Knockendarroch exudes a country house charm and retains its original period features, including beautiful cornices, stained glass, and marble fire places, complete with open log fires. All bedrooms are en-suite, each with its own character and views, including two rooms with small balconies.
The highly regarded local chef delights our guests with the finest of Scottish dining, complemented by our outstanding service, carefully chosen wine list and an extensive range of single Malt whiskies.
A perfect destination for a short break to relax and explore Highland Perthshire, and the many activities it has to offer, including walking, cycling, fishing, golf, land rover safaris, the Pitlochry Festival Theatre, the salmon fish ladder, Blair Castle, House of Bruar, the New Year’s street party, the Pitlochry Highland Games, the Blair Atholl Horse Trials and the ETAP road cycling race.
