Killiecrankie House Hotel
Killiecrankie House Hotel, Killiecrankie by Pitlochry, Perthshire, PH16 5LG
This small country hotel started life as a private house and in the late 1930s was turned into an hotel. Having recently changed hands, now under the ownership of experienced hotelier Henrietta Fergusson, Killiecrankie House has remained true to its origins; it has the feel of a private house whilst providing short breaks in Scotland with the comfort and amenities one would associate with an outstanding hotel.
The hotel overlooks the Pass of Killiecrankie and the famous Soldier's Leap is but a 5 minutes stroll. With 10 individual bedrooms, all en suite, and a chef who creates meals to tempt the most jaded of palates, Killiecrankie is the perfect base for short breaks in Scotland with fishing, riding, walking, sightseeing, theatre-going and many other local activities.
The dining room, boasting 2 AA Rosettes for the past 16 years, is a special experience, with views, including breathtaking sunsets, to the west over the established formal garden. Our wine list is extensive, and award winning, with something for all tastes.
Breakfast is taken whilst watching the red squirrels as they feast at the specially designed feeder outside. A fabulous breakfast can be enjoyed negating the need for anything substantial during the day.
