Dunstane house was built in 1852 to the design of the famous architect William Playfair. Our Edinburgh hotel retains its victorian architectural grandeur which, combined with an intimate country house hotel atmosphere, ensures our guests finish their short breaks in Scotland with lasting memories of Dunstane. All 16 bedrooms have been individually designed to a high standard and are all non smoking.
Our Skerries restaurant offers diners a superb selection of dishes, mostly harvested from the rich tidal waters around Orkney & Shetland. For those who wish to savour a lighter or more informal meal, a wide choice is available in the stane bar, which also boasts more than 80 malt whiskies.
