Duisdale House Hotel is a small and one of the most wildly romantic Scottish hotels, located on The Isle of Skye. Sometimes likened to a sleek city boutique hotel transported to the wilds of Skye, it has been totally transformed over recent years. Jointly with Toravaig House, Duisdale owns and operates the beautiful luxury yacht Solus na Mara which offers guests, from spring to autumn, fabulous days out – enjoy a glass of champers and lunch while watching basking sharks, seals or even whales. You can even get married on board - a unique feature amongst Scottish hotels!
There are a range of sleek and contemporary rooms with sea or garden views... right up to gorgeous four-poster rooms all complete with flat screen TVs, hairdryers and all the luxury amenities you would expect in a hotel of this quality.
Duisdale’s restaurant offers two zones, a handsome room with a sleek atmosphere and real fire, and a conservatory area linked via arches with grand garden views. Tall-backed white leather chairs sit at tables set with white linen and many attractive finishing touches. Dinners here do feel distinctly special, and gentle Celtic background music adds a sense of place. The A la carte menu offers modern Scottish cuisine full of interesting, exciting ideas using carefully-selected suppliers including many local Skye partners.
The hotel itself has a new Hydro pool in the garden and there are many new woodland walks to enjoy. Skye itself offers so much to see and do; Dunvegan Castle, Talisker Distillery, The Clan Donald Centre, the Cuillin Mountains to name but a few.

Location
Drive to Kyle of Lochalsh, cross the Skye Bridge and at the turning on your left marked A851, turn towards Armadale. Continue along the road approximately 7 miles to Duisdale and the Hotel is clearly signed on your right. If you are arriving via Mallaig... on arrival at Armadale drive along to Duisdale and the hotel is up on your left.
