Dryburgh Abbey

The Dryburgh Abbey Hotel sits proudly in it's own ten acre estate on the banks of the River Tweed. The views from the public rooms and many of the bedrooms are of the majestic river and/or the historic ruins of the abbey. This splendid baronial mansion dates from the mid-nineteenth century, and is owned by the Wallace family.

The Tweed restaurant, with fabulous unspoiled views of the river, serves some of the finest food in the country. The menu changes daily, and features the 'Art Cusine' of of our brigade of chefs. A fine dinner awaits you after a day filled with walking, touring, sporting or relaxing in the grounds of the hotel or at the indoor pool.

Set in the very heart of the Borders, with the historic towns of Melrose, Galashiels, Kelso, Jedburgh, Peebles, Selkirk and Hawick all within 30 minutes, and Edinburgh to the north an hour away - there is always plenty to see and do.

We look forward to welcoming you to Dryburgh and the Scottish Borders.
