You are always assured of a warm welcome alongside a “home from home “ atmosphere at Cringletie House, situated on the sloping hills of the Scottish Borders,
Cringletie is a very special romantic baronial mansion dating back to 1861.
Nestled in 28 acres of woodland and gardens, Cringletie’s
400-year-old garden, allegedly the oldest in Scotland, is home to a variety of vegetables and herbs used by our Chefs for the Restaurant.
With it’s burning log fires in the elegant public rooms, 13 individually decorated bedrooms with glorious views over the gardens and rolling countryside, stunning award winning restaurant with it’s hand painted ceiling of almost 100 years old, and service that is attentive yet unobtrusive, Cringletie really is an experience not to be missed.
We pride ourselves in providing our Guests with the ultimate comfort in stylish surroundings. The house is fully wheelchair accessible and offers a dedicated disabled room.
