Cavens
Cavens, Kirkbean, Galloway, Dumfries & Galloway, DG2 8AA
Built in 1752 by the influential tobacco baron Sir Richard Oswald, CAVENS was so dear to his family that it remained in their name for over 200 years.
Today owners Jane and Angus Fordyce feel proud to call this elegant country house their home. And they would like you to feel as much a part of CAVENS as they do when you visit for a break with us here on the Solway Firth in Scotland.
At CAVENS, we believe that everyone deserves a little luxury, a little indulgence in their busy lives and in our public rooms and our bedrooms, we offer our guests just that. There are only eight guestrooms at Cavens, each one beautifully furnished with a fine blend of the traditional and the modern.
Throughout the house, the sense of light and space creates a feeling of pure relaxation amongst all who stay here.
Staying a while or passing through, we'd like to welcome you to Cavens.
